Profile and Credentials

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker {LCSW} with extensive experience with adolescents, adults, and older adults in the treatment of behavioral and relationship problems.

Over the course of the last three decades, I  have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups in recognizing and changing the patterns of behavior tht negatively affect their lives and/or interfere with their goals.

My experience includes treatment of psychiatric and alcoholic patients and their families at Jacobi Hospital (Bronx) and Saint Vincent's Hospital (Manhattan), as well as at several outpatient clinics and in private practice. I have also counseled families with disabled children (young and adult}.

I hold a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the Columbia University School of Social Work, as well training in family therapy from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine Family Studies Program. I was also trained in providing clinical supervision at the Smith College School of Social Work.

Additionally, I am a graduate of the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy Child and Adolescent Program, and of the same institute's Couples Program.

I am an adjunct instructor at Westchester Community College where I teach in the Department of Human Services.
